Based in Sussex, Ellis began her career in music as a multi-instrumentalist with a speciality in Saxophone. She graduated from the prestigious Middlesex University with a degree in Jazz Music, and generated a reputation as a mainstay of the UK festival scene and one of the best session musicians in the country.
